CAF Champions League: Togolese referee to handle Kotoko clash with Nouadhibou in Accra

Published on: 01 December 2020

Togolese referee Komlanvi Aklassou will handle the CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg clash between Asante Kotoko SC and FC Nouadhibou at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.

The 31-year-old who officiated at the 2019 African Games in Morocco will be assisted by Limna Kabassima (Assistant I), Koffi Jonathan Ahonto Koffi (Assistant II) and Kouassi Attisso Atiogbe (Fourth Official).

Omer Kouame Dehoule from Cote D’Ivoire will be the match commissioner, with Ghana’s Christiana Baah serving as COVID-19 officer for the game.

Kotoko will qualify to the next stage of the competition with a win or a goalless draw. The first leg ended 1-1 in Mauritania last Sunday.

Kotoko took the lead through Osman Ibrahim but the home team was awarded a dubious penalty, which they converted.
