CAF CL: Kotoko must work on their defense ahead of Kano Pillars game- Karim Zito

Technical director for Dreams FC Karim Zito has advised Kotoko to work on their defense as the rate at which they concede goals in Africa could affect them.

Asante Kotoko conceded three goals against Kano Pillars in the first leg of the Champions League match played last Saturday at the Saanie Abacha Sports Stadium. The game ended 3-2 in favor of the home side.

Karim Zito praised Kotoko for the performance exhibited on the day but urged the technical handlers of the team to tackle the rate at which the team concedes in the competition.

“Kotoko did well but my problem is how they conceded those three goals. This technical handles must work on how they have been conceding goals because it can cause the team moving forward”, he told AshhFM.

“Playing in Africa, all departments in the team must work to perfection because it won’t be an easy game”, he added.

The Porcupine Warriors will host Kano Pillars in the second leg on August 25 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
