Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko will jet off to Algeria for their CAF Confederation Cup play-off second leg against ES Setif on Saturday 20 February 2021, Opemsuo FM has reported.

Earlier reports in the media indicated that the team was struggling to raise money for the trip to the North African side.

However, the Kumasi-based radio station has reported that the team have made preparations for the trip and they will leave the shores of Ghana on Saturday.

The Reds are expected to be in Algeria on Friday to undergo the routine COVID-19 tests 24 hours before the match.

The Porcupine Warriors have been preparing for the game ahead of the second leg on Sunday at the Stade 8 Mai 1945.

Asante Kotoko will have to overturn the result in the second leg to enhance their chance of progressing to the group stage.

The Ghanaian giant lost the first leg  2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The team is expected to fly to Algeria with a chartered flight for the game.
