CAF Confederation Cup: CAF issue warning to Asante Kotoko over Baba Yara Stadium

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has fired a warning to Asante Kotoko over the current state of Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Reports suggest that the continent's football governing body has written to the Porcupine Warriors to take appropriate measures to ensure the venue is in good condition to host CAF Confederation Cup matches.

This came to the notice of CAF after the Porcupine Warriors had played two CAF assigned matches in Africa inter-club competition thus against Kariobangi Sharks of Kenya and Coton Sport of Cameroon.

The Reds have been instructed to put the stadium in a better condition before they play their Group C matches in the CAF Confederation Cup or shift their home matches to a different venue.
