CAF Confederation Cup: Felix Annan insists Kotoko in not under pressure to perform ahead of Zesco clash

Goalkeeper of Asante Kotoko Felix Annan says the team is under no pressure to perform as they prepare to host Zesco United in the CAF Confederations Cup on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors lost their opening game in the group to Al Hilal and need a win at home to get their campaign back on track.

However, Annan who is also vice captain of the club says they will approach the game in a way they can get the maximum points despite pressure from the home fans.

“Pressure is bound to happen in everything you do. We know the fans expectation of us is very high. It’s normal to feel pressure from the fans but we don’t have to play under pressure," he told Graphic Sports.

"We will deal with it as it is and turn it into a positive outcome. What we have to do as a team is to absorb the pressure and react in a positive manner. The pressure should rather be a motivation for us to deliver and we are very confident that we are going to win,” he added.
