Medeama SC head coach Prince Owusu is hopeful of a good result in his side's crucial CAF Confederation clash against Young Africans.

Medeama will play as guest of the team locally known as Yanga FC on at the 60,000 capacity National stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on saturday.

The Yellow and Mauves have won none of their two games played in the group stage and will need to double their efforts to upstage the Tanzanian club who are also chasing its first victory.

The two time Ghanaian FA Cup champions have set sights on reaching the semi-finals despite being a three adrift off the second position.

“We are poised for the game, we have watched a few clips of them and we have adopted a strategy,” he said." Owusu told reporters before team departed for Tanzania on Wednesday night.

“We know their strength and we have worked on that. We just hope and pray we get good results and Ghanaians must pray for us as well." He added.
