CAF Confederation Cup: Salitas FC arrive in Ghana ahead of AshGold clash

AshantiGold SC opponent in the CAF Confederation Cup, FC Salitas arrived in the country on Friday night ahead of the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.

The Burkinabe side FC Salitas arrived at the Kotoka International Airport with a 15-man contingent with another batch expected to arrive on Saturday.

The game is scheduled for Sunday 29 November, 2020 at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

According to reports one player of FC Salitas tested positive for the coronavirus after checks conducted at the Kotoko International Airport and will be sent to the Ga East Hospital for treatment.

Officials for the game also arrived at the Kotoka International Airport on Friday.

Benin’s Issa Mouhamed will be in charge of Ashantigold’s CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round game against Salitas FC from Burkina Faso.

He will be assisted by Koudogbo Augustin Augustin Kougbemede and Lucien Todegnon Hontonnou with Djindo Louis Houngnandande as Fourth Official.

The Match Commissioner for the game is Rene Williams Sere from Côte D’Ivoire.
