CAF Confederation Cup: Senanu’s absence will not affect us- Akakpo Patron

Assistant Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Akakpo Patron says Richard Senanu’s absence will not affect the team ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup game against Nkana FC on Sunday 24 February, 2019.

The hard-working midfielder picked up an injury during last Wednesday's 2-1 win over Zesco United at home.

He was stretchered off and had to be replaced by Habib Mohammed, a new signing.

Assistant Head coach Akakpo Patron is hopeful Senanu’s absence will not affect the team but instead give other players the opportunity to play and perform.

"Missing Richard Senanu in our next game against Nkana FC will not affect us much because we have some other players to be replaced. It could be also a blessing for the player who will get the opportunity to deliver, Akakpo Patron told the media.

Kotoko will face Nkana FC on Sunday, February 24 2019.
