ZESCO United forward Rahim Osmanu has fired a warning shot to Asante Kotoko ahead of tonight's CAF Confederation Cup match.

The Zambian giants will play as guests to the Porcupine Warriors on matchday two of the group stage, hoping to solidify their position at the summit of the standings.

Ahead of the match, Osmanu, who hails from Ghana, claimed his outfit have mapped out a strategy to silence the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

"It will not be an easy game but we can't afford to drop points tomorrow against Kotoko," Osmanu told Kickgh.com after today's training at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

"Kotoko is a big club in Africa as well as Zesco United. They [Kotoko] can't be underrated on any day despite losing their first match [against Al Hilal in Sudan],"

"We're hoping to beat them in Kumasi tomorrow to silence them before they travel to Zambia to face us in the return leg encounter"

"We're two Ghanaian players at Zesco United. We'll be glad to see our countrymen supporting us during the match" he concluded.

The 23-year-old is one of the top forwards in the Zambian top-flight league.
