CAF Confederation Cup: Kotoko defender Augustine Sefah remains positive despite defeat to Al Hilal

Asante Kotoko defender Augustine Sefah is confident the club will bounce back from the disappointing defeat to Al Hilal in their opening group game of the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Porcupine Warriors lost narrowly to the Blue Waves, with Waleed Bakheek's 40th minute goal proving the difference.

Despite the defeat in Omdurman, Sefah, who was returning to the starting eleven after missing the second leg play-offs against Coton Sport believes the Reds will react positively in subsequent games.

"We have 5 more matches to go so we will put this loss behind us and reach out to win the rest of the matches," Sefah told Oyerepa FM.

"Its just the first game, significant but all hope is not lost.We will put ourselves together and come back stronger."

The record Ghana Premier League champions will return to Kumasi for the second group game against Zesco United, who were victors over Nkana on match day 1.

The top two sides in the group will qualify for the quarter finals of the competition, a target the FA Cup holders are poised on reaching.
