CAF president Hayatou arrives for Glo CAF Awards

Confederation of African Football President Issa Hayatou arrived in Accra on Tuesday night for 2012 Glo CAF Awards.

Hayatou was met on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport by Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi.

He was accompanied by some members of the CAF Executive Committee.

Hayatou and his team will hold series of meetings ahead of the Awards Gala on Thursday night at the at the Banquet Hall, State House in Accra..

Ivorian duo Yaya Toure and Didier Drogba, and Cameroonian midfielder Alexander Song are contenders for the ultimate CAF Player of the Year award.

Accra is playing host to the Awards Gala for an unprecedented fourth time after 2006, 2009 and 2011.
