Ghana will be eyeing the ultimate when they go head-to-head with Uganda in the 2021 U20 Africa Cup of Nations final in Mauritania on Saturday.

The Black Satellites face the Hippos at the Olympic Stadium in Nouakchott.

Ghana advanced to the final of the tournament on Monday after beating Gambia with a 1-0 scoreline.

A sumptuous free-kick from striker Percious Boah gave the Satellites the vital victory.

Ghana's last success of the African youth championship was in 2009 where they beat Cameroon 2-0 in the final.

The Satellites's last final appearance saw them lose on penalties to Egypt in 2013.

Ghana will tie up with Egypt at four championships with a win on Saturday.

Nigeria are the record winners of the tournament with seven titles.
