Hasaacas Ladies FC head coach, Yusif Basigi says his players are ready for their opening game against Nigerian side River Angels in the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone B qualifiers.
The Ghana Women’s Premier League champions take on River Angels of Nigeria at the Stade Robert Champroux, Abidjan.
“The players are 85% ready for Saturday’s game. If we get 5 percent to add it tomorrow, we are good to go but I am sure that we will even get 10% for us to be fully prepared and ready for the task ahead.”, Basigi said ahead of the game.
“All the players are in great shape and there is no injury situation in camp. They are motivated and focus because they know what is at stake before coming here”.
Coach Basigi admitted that they expect tough opposition from the Nigerian side in their opening game.
“Our opponents are not a bad side because we have heard about them. In the first 10-15 minutes of the game,I will be able to access them and their game plan. Know their strength and weaknesses to use it to my advantage .”
