VIDEO: Asamoah Gyan recalls debut game at 2006 World Cup against Italy

The Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan joined a list of Ghanaians players who shared memories on June 12 which marked Ghana's first appearance at the FIFA World Cup in Germany, 14 years ago.

Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan who was part of the Black Stars that made history at the Hannover stadium shared some insights in the game where he asked fans to judge on an incident during the course of the game.

Gyan in the tournament scored Ghana's first World Cup goal against Czech Republic in the second group game

He has played in three World Cup tournaments in 2006, 2010 and 2014.

He currently holds the title as Africa's all-time leading top scorer at the World Cup with six goals.
