Emmanuel Adebayor and Asamoah Gyan set for tennis showdown

Togolese legend Emmanuel Adebayor believes that he will beat Asamoah Gyan in a tennis match and has issued a challenge to the former Sunderland man. Asamoah Gyan accepted the challenge. 

Gyan, 34 recently found love for tennis and has been playing it inside the 37 Military Barracks, Accra during his off days. Adebayor also engages in the sport during his leisure time.

“It is going to be fire for fire. Who is Asamoah Gyan? I am going to finish him,” he said in an Instagram video.

“Asamoah Gyan come out,” he concluded.

Asamoah Gyan dubbed the showdown “clash of African Legends”.

“This is the match I have been waiting for. @e_adebayor called me out. Bro, I’m coming for you. Get ready. ‘CLASH OF THE AFRICAN LEGENDS’. Date will be announced” Gyan posted on his Instagram page.

Gyan and Adebayor are all-time top scorers in their respective national teams with 51 and 32 respectively.
