A video has popped up on social media where renowned Bishop Daniel Obinim confirmed his exploits as a one-time talented footballer.
Ex-Kotoko midfielder Stephen Oduro revealed in a TV interview that the head of the God's Way Church International was one of the gifted footballers he played with in Kumasi.
Oduro said: ''Daniel Obinim who today is a Bishop now was my neighbour and we were born in the same house, theirs was next to mine and a few other boys in the hood. He was a very good footballer but today he’s doing the work of God.''
Obinim revealed he quit football, despite his artistry, to do God's work after receiving the calling from his creator.
