Caleb Ekuban missed a golden opportunity as Trabzonspor failed to beat Sivasspor in the Turkey Super Lig on Saturday.
The match played at the Yeni Sivas 4 Eylül Stadyumu ended goalless. A missed opportunity for Trabzonspor to move within three points of the Champions League spot.
The outcome of the match would have been different if Ekuban was clinical in the 58th minute.
The Black Stars striker could not guide his free header into the net after a fantastic cross by Nigerian forward Anthony Nwakaeme. It was Trabzonspor's best chance of the match.
Despite not scoring, Ekuban remains Trabzonspor's second top scorer this season with nine goals. He has also assisted three goals.
