Ghanaian forward Issah Abass scored two goals on Thursday as HNK Rijeka demolished ten-man Hibernian 4-1 in the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round.

Rijeka progressed to the next round of the maiden competition 5-2 on aggregate after one all stalemate in the first leg.

Aside scoring, Abass assisted the third goal for the Croatian side who totally enjoyed themselves on the night.

The game was level at 1-1 when Hibernian were reduced to ten men in the 67th minute.

It didn't take long for Rijeka to take advantage, with Abass playing a leading role.

First, his corner sailed through a sea of bodies to find the net before the forward beat Paul McGinn to a header.

It was his first goal in the competition but two overall in three matches this season.
