Cedar Stars Shine Bright in a Thrilling Start to the 2024/25 Season

Cedar Stars Academy kicked off their 2024/25 Greater Accra Division 2 League campaign with a mix of exhilarating wins and hard-fought lessons.

The team announced their intent with an electrifying 4:3 away victory over Newlife FC at the Mac Dan Astro Turf.

Goals from Bright Awitor, Jack Abalo, and new signings Fredrick Ekor and Amos Okutu secured all three points in a pulsating opener.

Our home debut was even more spectacular, as the Stars thrashed Dawtex FC 5:3 in an eight-goal thriller at the Adjiringanor Astro Turf.

Awitor and Ekor continued their fine form with braces, while Samuel Kusi sealed the victory with a sublime free-kick.

Match day 3 saw us face setback in a 3:1 defeat to Golden Strikers with Fredrick Ekor scoring a consolation.

The team again recorded a  narrow 1:0 defeat to Adabraka Elders FC in match day 4.

Despite the defeats, Cedar Stars have shown immense attacking flair and determination.

With standout performances from new signings and a fighting spirit, the team is poised to light up the league as the season progresses.
