Cedar Stars Academy delivered a statement win in their Matchday 11 clash of the 2024/25 season of the Greater Accra Regional FA division 2 league, defeating league leaders MSK Zilina Africa 2:1 at the Adjiringanor Astro Turf.
After a tightly contested first half, the Forever Green Boys came alive in the second when Raphael Anaba broke the deadlock in the 48th minute with a stunning free-kick into the top corner.
Though the visitors leveled shortly after from the spot, the forever green lad’s relentless pressure paid off in the 82nd minute when Francis Smith won a penalty.
