Celtic FC are reportedly ready to offer a bumper deal to Ghanaian youngster⁰Jeremie Frimpong in the coming days, according to reports.

Frimpong was one of the star performers for the Hoops during the 2019/2020 season as they clinched the Scottish Premier League title after the season was called off due to coronavirus.

It was because of this reason, the right-back was named the club’s best young player of the campaign.

As per reports the Celtic hierarchy is now considering to reward the 19-year-old with a new bumper deal with a significant pay rise to ward off interest from English clubs.

Tottenham, Everton and Sheffield have all been linked to the Dutch-born and are eager to sign him in the summer.

Frimpong made 19 appearances for the Celts in all competitions this season and scored twice and provided three assists.

He joined the Scottish giants from English Premier League side Manchester City in September 2019.
