Celtic new signing Mubarak Wakaso says he has worked on his temperament and no longer a dirty player.

Wakaso's career in Spain ended unhappily with a series of disciplinary problems, including a final season which saw him collect 15 yellow cards in just 26 appearances for Espanyol.

The Ghana international says he has gone through a lot and can no longer be provoked by opponents.

He said: "I am mature enough not to do such silly things again.

"I'm a fighter on the field, and that's why I get some cards.

"Sometimes I'm quick-tempered."
