Dutch born Ghanaian youngster Jeremie Frimpong is set to return from injury on Monday, Celtic Manager Neil Lennon has confirmed.

The teenager has been out with an injury since the Kilmarnock game when Alan Powers went right through the young defender.

Ahead of Celtic's trip to Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League on Wednesday, Neil Lennon spoke about the injury situation in his team.

"We’re hoping he (Frimpong) will be back in training on Monday," Lennon said ahead of the trip to Fir Park.

"Boli’s had a bit of time out and he’ll be back in contention for the squad.

"Greg’s played very well and, at the minute, he’s first in line to play. We’ve got competition in all positions."

Frimpong joined the Scottish champions from Manchester City in the summer and has gone on to become a fans favourite.
