Cesena’s prodigious midfielder Stefano Sensi is set to undergo his medical at Sassuolo ahead of his future move to Juventus.

Sensi will spend next season at the Mapei Stadium before joining up with the Old Lady for the 2017/18 season.

Calciomercatoweb.com report the 18-year-old is set to sign a contract at the Neroverdi but will remain with the Serie B outfit until the end of the current campaign.

The two clubs enjoy a fruitful relationship with Sassuolo having nurtured several of Juventus’ brightest prospects in the past, namely Domenico Berardi and Simone Zaza.

Cesena will be owed €4 million for the Italian’s services, with his contract including appearance and performance related bonuses.

Juventus, Sassuolo and Sensi’s agent are set to meet to finalise his transfer in the coming days.

Sensi had been linked with a move to AC Milan but appears to favour a transfer to the current Italian champions.
