Champions League qualifiers: Bernard Tekpetey ruled out of Ludogorets second leg against Zagreb

Published on: 04 August 2022

Ghana forward Bernard Tekpetey will miss Ludogoret's second-round fixture against Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League due to suspension.

The former Schalke picked up a yellow card against Razgrad and has been ruled out of the big clash.

Ludogorets lost the first leg 2-1 at the Huvepharma Arena and must overturn the score line in the second leg next week to progress to the next round.

Tekpetey has been in fine form this season scoring three goals in four appearances for the club.

His absence will be a big blow to the Bulgarian champions going into the second leg encounter.

The team to win the tie will qualify to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
