In an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com, Fameyeh said: "When my coach told me that I have been invited, I was shocked. I never felt I could earn a call up. My coach was proud of me for scoring 28 goals in the league but I never thought that I could be invited into the national team."
He added: "I believe that this will help me a lot as I join the team in camp. I am really shocked and I will take the chance a prove a point."
