Chelsea and Tottenham have been fined a total of £600,000 for their roles in the Battle of Stamford Bridge.

The two competed in a match littered with incidents two weeks ago, and both teams have admitted to failing to control their players.

Tottenham had nine players booked and Mousa Dembele banned for six games for eye gouge in the 2-2 draw which marked the end of their hopes of winning the Premier League title.

The FA announced today that both sides have received large fines (Chelsea £375,000 while Spurs £225,000) for their indiscretions during and after fixture.
