Chelsea chiefs in talks with brother of Guardiola over 'no pressure' deal

Chelsea are in talks with Pep Guardiola's representatives about a move to London for the former Barcelona coach.

The People says Chelsea chiefs will meet Guardiola's agent brother Pere and offer a £10million salary plus cast-iron guarantees that he will not be under pressure to deliver instant success.

And sources close to Roman Abramovich have indicated that the Russian is willing to offer Guardiola the guarantee that he will be under no pressure to win a trophy for at least two years if he accepts the Chelsea job.

Guardiola quit Barca because of the intense pressure to keep winning silverware and the Blues know they must convince the 41-year-old Spaniard he would be given carte blanche to overhaul the entire club without short-term demands.
