Interviewed by Daily Mirror, French 31-year old striker Olivier Giroud, who just joined Chelsea from city rival side Arsenal, after five seasons and a half spent playing for Gunners, stated: "I needed to leave, and play again steadily. I wanted an exciting new challenge, and I think there couldn't be a better call than Chelsea. I'm really proud of what I've achieved in my career, and I'm 100% focused on getting new accomplishments for Blues".
