CHELSEA - Hiddink: \"We got benefit of the doubt\"

Published on: 20 March 2016

Chelsea equalised late on in the game against West Ham with a controversial penalty that Cesc Fabregas took with confidence.

Loftus-Cheek was brought down on the edge of the area and replays show it could have been considered outside the box. Guus Hiddink told sky sports that it looked a penalty from where he was sitting and benefit of the doubt was given to the attacking team.

"I think the real fair judgement can be done when you have a camera very straight on the line, because from my side the blue shirt was tripped on the line, and on the line means in the box, so it's a very different view.

"In the end I think he was through, and about to score, which was prevented. Even if he was out I think you give him the benefit of the doubt, to the attacking team in this case."
