Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has claimed he is confident in view of the rest of the season, after seeing the Blues winning in the Premier League opening fixtures.
“Everything at the moment is about confidence – he told Chelsea’s official website - and the games coming up will show us where we are”.
“If we want to put this team where it deserves to be, we go day by day and game by game”.
The Serbia international captain added: “We are playing like a team and we have to be really focused and stay on the ground with both feet”.
“There a lot of details that we can improve still and we have to think about that”.
Speaking about the home win against Burnley, Ivanovic said: “We’re happy about this and the result. Of course, this is just three games but we improve and we have confidence”.
“It was a very hard game for us. We opened very well and when we scored the second goal we were focused on our defence”.
