Chelsea to offer Guardiola £15M-a-year to make move

Chelsea are willing to pay Pep Guardiola a massive £15 million-a-year to move to London.

The Daily Express says Chelsea are poised to make a third bid worth £15million a year to tempt Guardiola to take over as their manager.

A source close to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich says Guardiola, 41, who left Barcelona after last night’s Copa del Rey final with Athletic Bilbao following four trophy-filled years, is still the Russian’s No1 choice.

Guardiola announced his intention to take a year out after Barca’s Champions League semi-final defeat by Chelsea and has rejected two offers from Abramovich, including one of £12m a year. But talks continued and it is believed a £15m package plus unlimited transfer funds is on offer.
