CHELSEA, Willian: "Leaving? London is my second home, I want my daughters to grow up here"

Published on: 21 February 2020

Asked by The Players' Tribune about rumours linking him to a summer move, after seven seasons in, Brazilian international winger and Chelsea powerhouse Willian (31) made clear: "London is my second home. I've just passed the UK citizenship test, on my third attempt. It featured some very difficult questions, which even some English friends of mine didn't know the right answers to. I studied a lot of hours, I can't even count out how many. Besides, my wife doesn't want to leave London, and my daughters as well. We love Brazil, we are happy to be back there for the holidays, but this is the place I want to dwell in, and I want my daughers to grow up in. Plus, I want to keep on feeling my teammates' and our fans' love". Willian is tracked by Barcelona FC, Juventus, and Inter Milan.
