Juventus produced a stunning performance to beat Chievo 4-0 at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi on Sunday afternoon without their Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah.

Juventus, who had their midfielder Asamoah absent because of injury, started the game in a fiery fashion and took the lead in the sixth minute through Spaniard Alvaro Morata.

The Bianconeri were in complete control throughout the first half and Morata deservedly scored a second in the 40th minute.

Alex Sandro sealed the win for Juventus in the 60th minute before Paul Pogba added a beautiful fourth.

The Old Lady began like a team that looked full of confidence and opened the scoring within the first six minutes. Stephan Lichtsteiner drove at Nicolas Frey before firing in a low cross, which was met at the back post by Morata, who tapped in his third goal of the week.

2o minutes later Juventus should have doubled their lead.

Sami Khedira broke into penalty box and smartly pulled the ball back to Paulo Dybala, however the Argentine struck his effort straight at Albano Bizarri.

The Mussi Volanti were proving to be feeble opposition as the Bianconeri doubled their lead just before half time.

Dybala darted into the penalty box and slipped in the overlapping Khedira. The German then delicately picked out Morata, who once again just had to tap-in to score.

The second half started in similar fashion to the first, with Juventus in full control and 15 minutes into the half, the Bianconeri sealed their 12th win a row.

Lichtsteiner played a nice one-two with Dybala, before charging into the penalty box and sliding the ball back to Pogba. The Frenchman then poked the ball to Alex Sandro who thundered a shot past Bizarri.

After that assist Pogba scored his own excellent goal. After picking the ball outside the box, he skipped past two Chievo defenders before elegantly curling the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

The result leaves Juventus temporarily in first place, whereas Chievo stay in 10th.
