Alberto Paloschi could be set to depart Serie A side Chievo in January as Premier League outfit Swansea City circle for the striker.
The 25-year-old has made himself a fan favourite in Verona since joining in 2011, hitting six goals in the current season as his assassin-like finishing abilities continue to make him one of the most potent strikers in Italy.
However, that label could soon be a thing of the past as Swansea look to bolster their squad following a disappointing end to 2015 that saw coach Gary Monk sacked, with Paloschi targeted for a â¬6 million plus bonuses move, according to Fanta Gazzetta.
Despite quashing strong interest from Sassuolo in the summer, the Gialloblu have a real fear for losing their star striker and have already cited former Catania man Pablo Barrientos, now at San Lorenzo, as a potential replacement.
