Christian Atsu is uncertain of his next move after parting ways with Newcastle United.
According to the Ghanaian, he is weighing his options which include staying in Europe.
"I am weighing up my options,” he says. “I would prefer it to be warm weather, but we’ll see. I’ve loved being in England and I have offers from here but I think I need to move away. I might stay in Europe. I have to decide,” he said.
Atsu's Newcastle contract expired at the end of last season and there was no agreement between himself and the club for an extension.
Obviously, Newcastle did not want Atsu who ndured a difficult 2020/21 campaign. He was not registered and had to spend time with Newcastle United U-23 team.
The 29-years old has had stints in Portugal with FC Porto and Rio Ave before Chelsea and Everton.
