Samartex coach Christopher Ennin has predicted his outfit will come good despite back-to-back stalemate in the Ghana Premier League.

The Timber Giants, who are the defending champions settled for a 0-0 draw against Hearts of Oak, followed by a 1-1 stalemate against Dreams FC on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

Ennin was left disappointed at the end of the week 18 encounter after his team shared the spoils with the Still Believe lads at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.

Samartex opened the scoring through Mohammed Mankuyeli in the 51st-minute mark and were on course for a much-needed victory.

However, experienced forward Joseph Esso stepped up and fired home the needed equalizer, salvaging his outfit from defeat.

After the game, Ennin vowed a strong comeback amid recent unimpressive result in the Ghanaian top-flight.

"We can’t get things on a silver platter looking at where we are coming from. I believe strongly we will bounce back and bring the joy to the fans” he said.

Meanwhile, the former Berekum Chelsea gaffer has rendered apology to Samartex fans after sharing the spoils with Dreams FC.

“I will apologise to the supporters because they’ve shown so much love and concern. We appreciate their support. I will plead with them to exercise patience and keep backing us” he added.

Samartex, who are the defending champions are currently 10th on the Ghana Premier League table with 23 points after 18 matches into the campaign.
