Christopher Nettey to miss Asante Kotoko’s clash with Inter Allies due to injury

Defender Christopher Nettey will play no part in Asante Kotoko’s Ghana Premier League week 15 clash against Inter Allies because of injury.

The 21-year-old is awaiting the results of a scan to determine the severity of an ankle injury sustained during Thursday's goalless draw against Elmina Sharks.

Footballghana.com reports that Nettey is expected to spend one-week on the sidelines.

The highly-rated youngster has been one of the standout players for the Porcupine Warriors, featuring in 12 games thus far.

He will be replaced by Augustine Sefah ahead of the crucial game with Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.

He joined Asante Kotoko from lower-tier side Attram Visseer Academy at the beginning of the 2019/20 season.
