Hearts coach CK Akunnor is delighted with the progress made and confident his side can mount a serious challenge for the title.
The capital-based side have been in top-shape in the off-season where they have chalked some decent results in friendly matches.
They thrashed newly promoted Amidaus Professionals 3-0 in their biggest off-season game à at the Tema Stadium on Wednesday and the former Ghana captain is in buoyant mood ahead of the start of the new campaign.
ââ¬ÅI am impressed with the level of improvements in the team and I believe this year will be a different story,â⬠Akunnor said
ââ¬ÅWe struggled against Dwarfs especially at the back but you realize that the midfielders fought for all the 50-50 balls and that tells you how ready weââ¬â¢re for the upcoming season.
ââ¬ÅWe will continue with our preparations steadly and hopefully we can make our fans happy.ââ¬
