CK Akunnor rubbishes Hearts exit reports

CK Akunnor has no plans of quitting Hearts if he is unable to land his targeted players for the upcoming season.

The capital-based have been busy in the transfer market in a bid to strengthen their squad after missing out on the league title for the past three seasons.

Media reports had claimed the ex-Ghana captain has threatened to quit his post if the club fail in their bid to buy quality players.

But he has sharply denied the claims and insists such reports are well wide off the mark.

"Hearts of Oak is a big club and a big like that when matters come up you need to listen," Akunnor said.

"Sometimes it goes beyond your limit as a coach. Sometimes there are certain things you can do and at certain things you can't do.

"I am someone who speaks my mind and make my opinion known. Sometimes people cannot deal with it, others also can deal with."

Hearts have recruited Seth Owusu, Emmanuel Ansong and Gilbert Fiamenyo and Richard Addai.
