Claudio Ofosu trains for the first time with Hartlepool United

English born Ghanaian midfielder Claudio Ofosu joined Hartlepool United's training session for the first time since signing his first professional contract with the club. 

The 21-year old who was unveiled on Tuesday wasted no time in joining the rest of his teammates after participating in training yesterday.

Ofosu moved to Hartlepool United in the ongoing transfer window after a successful campaign with Southern League Premier Division side Royston Town, where he bagged in 9 goals and created 11 assist as they finished second.

The London born began his career with St Neots Town, making 24 appearances before joining Stevenage, progressing through the club’s youth system.

He also enjoyed loan spells at Biggleswade United, where he bagged three goals in six appearances, and then six appearances at Kings Langley before another loan spell at Mildenhall Town, all gaming valuable first-team experience.
