Aduana Football Club head coach Cioba Aristica has hailed the fighting spirit of his outfit following victory over Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
The Ogya boys brushed aside the Phobians with a 2-0 win on Wednesday afternoon at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park, earning maximum points from their outstanding Premier League Week 22 fixture.
Aduana FC took control early and broke the deadlock in the 31st minute through their captain, Sam Adams, who calmly slotted home to give the hosts a deserved lead.
The home team sealed the victory late in the game when Ivorian forward Abdel Latif Bamba, introduced in the 78th minute, scored with a clinical finish in the 88th minute to make it 2-0.
Speaking after the game, Aristica commended his outfit overall performance following victory over Hearts of Oak.
“I will congratulate my players for their performance. We came to this game with a different mentality after defeat to Karla United. I like the team spirit. Both teams played well but Aduana FC emerged victorious” he said.
Aduana FC are currently 11th on the Ghana Premier League table with 35 points whiles Hearts of Oak sit 7th spot with 41 points.
