Coach Edward Nii Odoom frustrated by Hearts of Oak's form after draw with Medeama

Assistant Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Edward Nii Odoom is growing frustrated by the club's poor form in the Zylofon Cash Premier League.

The Premier League giants have not won a game in their last seven games, and were left heart broken after Awudu Tahiru scored a last minute goal in their 1-1 draw against Medeama on Sunday.

According to Coach Odoom, the players and technical team are all unhappy with the current situation at the club.

"We are not happy," he said in a post match interview. "We the technical team and the playing body, we are not happy about what is going on,' he angrily reacted.

Following the poor run by the club in the top flight. Fans of Accra Hearts of Oak are calling for the heads of the technical team but Coach Nii Odoom insists they won't be the first handlers of the club to be sacked.

"For Coaches, we aren't the first to be sacked. Coaches have been sacked in Europe and everywhere so if they say we should put our work down, what is the issue," he laments.

Accra Hearts of Oak have not won a game since beating Kumasi Asante Kotoko in match day 8 of the Ghana Premier League. Coach Nii Oddoom believes injuries have been the bane of their campaign.

"There are too many injuries in the team. If you look at our team, we have six players off the team and we are managing to play as a team. If I say I will mention names, Razak is out, Inusah is out, Samudeen is out, Obeng is out and Malik too is out. We registered 26 players and if all these players are off. Please even Liverpool against Real Madrid, one player goes out and the whole team is down and what about Accra Hearts of Oak," he chided.
