Coach J.E Sarpong is keen to be made the substantive coach of Liberty Professionals after guiding them to safety in the just ended Glo Premier League.

The experienced coach replaced George Odartey Lamptey at the beginning of the second round and helped improve the club's dwindling league fortunes.

Liberty had managed two wins, three draws in eight home league matches.

The former Ghana Under-23 assistant coach is largely credited with transforming the club and he has not ruled out extending his stay.

"I am happy with what we managed to do with the club at a time that they were going through difficult times and won’t hesitate to be part of it next season," Sarpong said.

"It's up to the directors and management of the club to decide on that but we managed to instill discipline and built team chemistry and love and that worked for us perfectly."

Sarpong has coached Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics, Okwahu United and defunt Dawu Youngsters in the Premier League.
