Newly promoted Ghana Premier League club Real Tamale United (RTU) have dissolved their management and technical team.

Head coach Ibrahim Shaibu Tanko, who masterminded their top-flight return after eight years, is the only survivor in the massive shakeup.

He will lead the team's campaign in the 2021/22 league campaign which commences on October 29, 2021.

A new backroom staff would be appointed in the coming days, as well as new management members.

"To ensure the club compete favourably in the premiership, restructuring and reorganization is to take place, therefore the management team has been dissolved immediately and further information would be given in due course," excerpts of the club's letter read.

"You are requested to submit all club properties (if any) at your disposal to the secretary to be forwarded to the Board Chairman"

RTU gained promotion after beating Unity FC 2-0 on the final day of the Division One Zone One League.

They needed to win and hope that other results to go their way as Berekum Arsenals held Bofoakwa Tano to a goalless draw.

RTU had a better head-to-head than Bofoakwa Tano since they drew 2-2 in Sunyani and won 2-0 in Tamale.
