Columbus Crew captain Jonathan Mensah opens up on what he does during quarantine

Columbus Crew captain and Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah has opened up on the thing he does as a leader during the period of quarantine due to the coronavirus. 

The first African captain of the Major League Soccer club reveals that he and a group of leaders in the club text and call other teammates to check their well being in this difficult times.

"[The Leadership Council has] three, four guys that we check on every day. Just checking to see how guys are doing, physically and mentally," Mensah said. 

"Even someone like me, even though I’m on the leadership team, Darlington Nagbe, Gyasi Zardes and other guys call me because I’m all by myself here. But we keep in touch."

The 2020 Major League Soccer was just two games old before it was halted due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
