Aduana Stars have pulled a major transfer upset to sign promising striker Elvis Opoku beating giants AshantiGold and Kotoko, GHANASoccernet.com can confirm.

The Bibiani Gold Stars striker has signed a three-year deal with the Fire Boys and began pre-season training.

“We did a quiet job and the club is glad to sign the player who was brilliant last season,” Aduana CEO Albert Commey told GHANASoccernet.com

“It is our policy not to talk much but we will get all the transfers done and sealed.”

Opoku was top scorer in last season’s MTN FA Cup with seven goals and hinted he wanted to join AshantiGold.
