Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars Albert Commey has confirmed that forward Richard Arhin has been handed a trial at Egyptian giants Arab Contractors.

Arhin, 24, was instrumental for the 2009 league champions seeing them finish 3rd in the 2014/15 league.

The experience attacker is expected to leave the shores of the country for an extended trial and a possible switch ahead of the 2016 football season.

Confirming the news to GHANAsoccernet.com, Albert Commey said “Yes Richard has been handed a trial by Arab Contractors and has left to trial with them for the next month.”

Arhin will be expected to sign a three-year contract with them if they are impressed with his performance as he was the main driving force for the Dormaa-based side in the just ended Ghana league.

The 24 year led the line for Aduana Stars in the just ended domestic season in a triumvirate attacking trio alongside Daniel Darkwah.

His departure will be a big blow to the Dormaa based perennial top flight campaigners amidst shortage of attackers.

Arhin joins a list of 10 other players released by the 2009 domestic champions in a massive overhaul of the playing squad.
