Controversial Ghanaian football administrator Takyi Arhin has threatened to drag the FA to court to prevent them from going ahead with the final round of matches on Sunday until all disciplinary cases are cleared.

This weekend will mark the last round of matches in the Ghanaian top-flight this season but there are few unresolved cases pending before the disciplinary committee of the Ghana Football Association.

Berekum Arsenal, deeply involved in the fight against relegation,  have filed a protest against relegated Real Tamale United while their cross town rivals Chelsea have also filed a protest against them for fielding an unqualified player during their clash at the Golden City Park.

The former BA United chief fears failure to resolve all outstanding disputes will be unfair to team that want to win the league and others sweating to avoid the drop.

He has therefore urged the Premier League Board to suspend this weekend’s round of matches until the disciplinary cases are cleared, warning he will be forced to drag the FA to court.

“The Bibles say for lack of vision and knowledge, my people perish. Common sense will tell you that there is only match to end the season and so all disciplinary cases must be cleared so that which ever team win, wins on merit and whichever team lose, lose on merit,” Arhin told Bogoso –based Best FM

“I do know that Berekum Arsenal have a case against RTUwhile Berekum Chelsea also have a case against Arsenal.

“And so if there is anything to go, the PLB should stop the last round of matches until all cases are cleared.

“Otherwise like I always the say, the Ghana League goes to the highest bidder. The one with the huge financial windfall will win the league, and if your're poor as church mouse, then you're in serious trouble.

"Look I can sit at the comfort of my home and give you all the results  for this weekend’s matches.

“We claim we want to synchronize our league with the Europeans, but those are ‘cantata’ talk.

“Because it will never happen in Europe that we end the season and some teams will be fighting for points from the boardroom. It doesn't make sense.

“We should suspend the league otherwise some of us will be forced to take legal action against the FA. If  no one take the initiative, I will do that.

“It’s a joke the way we run our league in this country.”

The final round of matches on Sunday will have serious consequences for those who want to win the league and others at the tail end of the table.
