Controversial Senegalese referee Badara Diatta will officiate Ghana’s opening 2014 World Cup qualifier against Lesotho on Friday June 1.

He will be assisted on the lines by compatriot Camara Djibril and Kabanda Felicien of Rwanda.

Diatta was the centre man when Ghana beat Botswana 1-0 at the 2012 African Cup of Nations and showed  captain John Mensah the red card for a professional foul in that game.

Meanwhile another Senegalese Gueye Daouda will serve as the foruth official wih Kasuve Mutukku serving as the match commissioner.

The Black Stars must record a resounding victory over the Crocodile to inspire team confidence ahead of the crunch tie against Zambia
